“It wasn’t easy to record the follow-up to the well-received THE RIVER OF APPEARANCE. While I somehow knew that people would love another album in a similar vein, I felt I could never surpass the feeling I achieved on RIVER so took a turn and decided to record an album that definitely incorporated some of the melancholy but induced with a more rhythmical and experimental approach. Blessed with guest contributions by Steve Roach, Martina Verhoeven and Jeff Pearce, I was able to create an album that stood its grond after the expectation RIVER has caused and still very proud of CROSSING THE TRAIL which accentuated another side of VIDNA OBMANA and its realm I’ve been creating”.
